We welcome the State’s invitation to the Commission to contribute to Ireland’s second Voluntary National Review process, particularly given the high level of convergence between the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and human rights frameworks. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals, corresponding 169 targets and 230 indicators are underpinned by the cross-cutting human rights principles of participation, accountability and non-discrimination.
