In accordance with its founding legislation, the Commission is mandated to keep under review the adequacy and effectiveness of law and practice in the State relating to the protection of human rights and equality.
The Commission welcomes the publication of the Anti-Racism Committee’s Interim Report, and this opportunity to participate in the Committee’s development of a National Action Plan Against Racism. This submission follows the Commission’s earlier engagement with the Anti-Racism Committee in October 2020 and is published ahead of our meeting with the Anti-Racism Committee in September 2021.
