Tracey Supreme Court Amicus

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission was invited by the Supreme Court to intervene in these proceedings as Amicus Curiae (Friend of the Court).

The ground to which this appeal is confined relates only to the manner in which a finding of contempt of court was made against the Appellant. Accordingly, the Commission, in its role as Amicus Curiae, has made submissions solely in relation to this issue.
