Nadège Defrère is team leader for Non-Discrimination at the European Commission since 2017. She joined the Commission in 2006 to work as a press officer on employment issues. She then became for 5 years Head of the Political Sector in the Belgian Representation of the European Commission in Belgium. She also worked as a research assistant on social issues at Applica. Nadège holds a journalism master degree at IHECS (Brussels), as well, a Master of Arts in European Political and Administrative studies at the College of Europe (Bruges).
