Nyanchama Okemwa is Chair of ENAR aisbl and the ENAR Foundation, and a JEDI Consultant at Hand in Hand Against Racism. As a Human Rights Defender and PhD researcher, she has over 30 years' experience as anti-racism activist and human rights defender. Her work focuses on advancing decolonial and intersectional approaches to policy, organizing, and institutional transformation and social impact. As a Pan-Africanist, she is deeply rooted in ancestral knowledge, spirituality, and resilience, carrying forward the legacy of her forebears into every dimension of her work. She affirms a clear truth that racial justice is not an empty promise, but a commitment sustained through transformative action.
