Susan Kennefick is a Seconded National Expert (SNE) in the Director’s Office at the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights. Prior to her secondment, she was a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Advisor at the National Disability Authority, where her portfolio included access to justice for disabled persons, the introduction and implementation of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act, and Ireland’s obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Previously, she worked at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the Council of Europe, and the UN Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Law and French from University College Cork, and an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University.
