The Core Components are for key actors involved in the design, development, implementation, monitoring, review, and evaluation of national equality strategies; including:
- policy makers in public bodies who have responsibility for the equality strategies;
- Government Ministers who set the political priorities and are accountable for the national equality strategies;
- Oireachtas members who uphold equality and human rights in Ireland and provide scrutiny of national equality strategies;
- civil society and rights holders who engage with national equality strategies.
