Dr Aoife Price is an interdisciplinary scholar, educator, activist and leader in disability law and policy in Ireland. She is an active member of the disability community, currently serving on the steering committee of Disabled Women Ireland and as Co-Chair of the National Disabled Postgraduate Advisory Committee. She completed her PhD in Disability Law and Policy at the University of Galway in 2024. Her passion centres on the lives of disabled women in both public and private spheres. In addition to this, she is passionate about and endeavours to make the university a more inclusive place for disabled postgraduate students and staff. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at University College Cork. Previously, Aoife worked at the University of Galway, the European Disability Forum, and the Union of Students in Ireland. She is a graduate with an MSc in Applied Social Research from Trinity College Dublin and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Limerick.
