Chief Commissioner Liam Herrick
Liam Herrick was appointed Chief Commissioner of the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission in November 2024. Prior to this, he held the roles of Executive Director of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) and of the Irish Penal Reform Trust (IPRT) and has also worked as Advisor to President Michael D. Higgins.
