Claire Mc Evoy is a senior advisor on civic space protection at the OECD. She co-authored the OECD's flagship publications on civic space. Her work focuses on advising governments on how to create the enabling conditions for civil society to thrive, including NGOs focusing on advocacy. She has over 20 years' experience of policy analysis and research leadership behind her, working for multilaterals, think-tanks and NGOs in Dublin, Paris, and Nairobi. Her work is underpinned by a LLM in International Human Rights Law and a MA in Journalism.
