Ursula Barry is a feminist, economist and human rights advocate. As a long-term activist on gender issues, LGBT and disability rights, Ursula has been a contributor to policy-making and legislative reform on key economic and social issues. As a researcher and policy analyst, Ursula has published extensively in the areas of feminism and care, gender equality, social protection and poverty. She has been a member of a range of policy development advisory committees including; Chair of Sexual Exploitation Research Programme UCD. She has held positions on the board of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network (GLEN) and is currently on the Board of Spinal Injuries Ireland (SII).
